The 3d models/scenes contain Ball n Stick and Space Filling structure which can be simply interchanged and configured as desired in Maya. The 3d models/scenes have been organized in a hierarchy which can be manipulated with ease. Replacing or modifying shaders for entire 3d model is easy and swift. The embedded shaders provide an easy way for visualizations and renderings in different styles. The 3d models can be downloaded in Maya ASCII format.

Types of native Maya scenes / 3d Models

Premium 3d Models (Particle): They are built on Maya's particle system which can handle very large number of atom count with ease. The atom and bond geometry is based on Nurbs. Users can switch between software and hardware(no bonds) rendering modes easily by our customization MEL script. We recommended these 3d models as they offer best interactive performance
Standard Free 3d Models (Nurbs): These free 3d models are created using Nurbs geometry instancing they are similar to Basic 3d models and work well only when the total number of atoms is small.
Basic Free 3d Models (Polygon): Same as Standard free 3d Models, except these use polygon geometry instead of Nurbs.
